Artie Hao Li, Show Me the Green Conference Chair

Artie is a third year student pursuing the Accounting specialist degree at UTM. He is an active member on campus and he currently represents the Show Me the Green Chair's position on the Undergraduate Commerce Society. He has built some strong friendships and thoroughly enjoys being on the team.

Prior to his participation in the Conference last year when he thought green, he thought about St. Patrick's Day, Cash or the Green Giant. If you ask him the same question now he thinks about s sustainability, effectiveness and Show Me the Green Conference.

Last year where he competed, networked and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Conference. He realized that it's a great way of bringing students together and working towards a common goal of coming up with a sustainable solution. Therefore this year Artie's vision for Show me the Green is to expand the Conference and increase awareness about the issue of sustainability. Artie has some exciting plans for SMG 2011 and hopes to deliver a very dynamic Conference.

Nida Abdul Wahid, Show Me the Green Associate

Nida is a third year student specializing in accounting and currently studying under the Bachelor's of Commerce Degree at UTM. She attended the Conference last year and found it to be a rewarding experience; hence she decided to take up the Show me the Green associate's role. She thinks that SMG Conference is a great means of not only letting the students know about the impact of business activities on the environment but it also allows students to learn about sustainability and gives them a platform to demonstrate creativity in coming up with a sustainable solution.

Furthermore, the Conference provides an excellent opportunity to network with industry professionals. With growing environmental concern, it's vital to operate using sustainable practices and adopting green practices is a great way to make profits which simultaneously meets the ultimate goal of having a healthy planet. So think green and earn lots of green!

Dilpreet Jutla, Show Me the Green Associate

Dilpreet is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a specialization in accounting. She is an active member in her community on various fronts and saw Show Me the Green as an excellent opportunity to get involved from an environmental perspective. Dilpreet believes that Show Me the Green educates individuals about sustainable growth and renewable energy and provides all participants with the tools to become environmental leaders within their communities.

Environmental responsibility and preservation is on every company's agenda, and Show Me the Green helps to provide a bridge between "what can and should be done" and "how to do it." Being environmentally conscious can lead to greener operations, positive public relations, sustainable solutions, and ultimately a healthier earth. All of this starts with knowledge and awareness which can be obtained through your attendance at Show Me the Green 2012. So Dilpreet invites you to attend, compete, network, get involved and be green!

Natalie Kowalczyk, Show Me the Green Associate

Natalie is currently a second year student at UTM, working towards a specialist in accounting. She was interested in organizing the Show Me The Green Conference because she finds great accomplishment in sharing an impactful event, and knowing that it has cultivated a new knowledge within its participants. Natalie looks forward to optimizing the conference for students to more than just a competition, but also a learning experience. Outside of school, she works as a stylist and enjoys snowboarding and travelling.
